Quart Quart mason jar with a lid
Measuring cups
Scissors
Flannel or cotton fabric (optional)
Amber spray bottle (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups vinegar
- 1 1/4 cups water
- Pine needles
- 1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
- 30 drops of lemon essential oil optional
First, pick out some pine needles you like and chop them up to fit into a quart-sized mason jar.
Mix white vinegar, water, and as many pine needles as you can fit in the jar. Make sure all the needles are underwater to stop mold from growing.
Let the pine needles soak in the vinegar mix in a cool, dark place for a week.
After that, take out the pine needles from the vinegar.
Next, add rubbing alcohol and any essential oils you want.
Put your homemade disinfecting cleaner into a spray bottle or cut up fabric scraps to make wipes.
Time to clean up! Use your disinfecting cleaner on countertops, in bathrooms, and wherever else needs a good scrub.
